2. David Loman
was a major 19th-century Norwegian playwright, theatre director, and poet. He is often
referred to as "the father of realism" and is one of the founders of Modernism in theatre.
His major works include Brand, Peer Gynt, An Enemy of the People, Emperor and Galilean,
A Doll's House, Hedda Gabler, Ghosts, The Wild Duck, Rosmersholm, and The Master Builder.

preface -> A preface is an introduction at the beginning of a book, which explains what the book is about or why it was written
Prometheus Unbound is a four-act lyrical drama by Percy Bysshe Shelley first published
in 1820. It is concerned with the torments of the Greek mythological figure Prometheus,
who defies the gods and gives fire to humanity, for which he is subjected to eternal
punishment and suffering at the hands of Zeus.

A closet drama is a play that is not intended to be performed onstage, but read by
a solitary reader or, sometimes, out loud in a small group. A related form, the
"closet screenplay," developed during the 20th century.
